Mystical
"FUTURE MEMORY" is about people who "live" the future before it physically manifests, and remember having done so. This pre-living is so totally real and utterly involved that there is no way to tell the difference between present time and future time while the phenomenon is in progress. Sensory rich, Future Memory suggests that the future can somehow overlay the present, enabling an individual to "rehearse" or prepare in advance for what is about to happen in life. Mistakenly termed "flash forwards" by some researchers, Atwater shows how future memory differs from other modes of futuristic awareness such as clairvoyance, precognition, and deja vu. An NDE may include only one or two of these elements, and, in a few cases, all of them. These include: a sense of being outside one’s physical body, sometimes perceiving it from an outside position; a sense of movement through darkness or a tunnel; intense emotions; heightened perceptions; experiencing a great light or darkness; perceiving a spiritual realm, which may include vividly memorable landscapes; encounters with deceased loved ones, spiritual beings and/or religious figures; knowledge of the nature of the universe; a life review; a sense of oneness and interconnectedness; a border of no return; a sense of having knowledge of the future; messages regarding life’s purpose. Prophetic revelations in near-death experiences (NDEs) are a fourth type of flashforwards. Prophetic revelations are similar to another type of flashforward called the prophetic vision, which was identified in 1982 by Kenneth Ring. Like prophetic visions, prophetic revelations are a phenomenon in which NDErs are given a knowledge of the earth's future; they have a global or world focus. Prophetic revelations differ from prophetic visions in that events in the earth's future are told or revealed to the NDEr by a deceased relative or some otherworld person during their NDE, rather than in a visual display, and they are less detailed. Four categories of flashforwards have now been identified. In addition to the prophetic revelation and the prophetic vision are the other flashforwards, the personal flashforward and the otherworld personal future revelation (OPFR). The major features that distinguish these different flashforwards are their focus (global or personal), method of delivery, and detail. All flashforward types occur in a small number of cases and during deep NDEs. Journal of Near-Death Studies Volume 19, Number 4 / June, 2001
This child, like other young experiencers, speaks in the language of "other worlds," one that is less verbal and more akin to synesthesia - which is multiple sensing. The ability enables them to perceive what we call "reality" as consisting of layered realms unhampered by physical boundaries. Because of this, they easily giggle with angels, play with ghosts, and pre-experience the future. Parents generally find such behavior cause for panic. Jewish philosophy stresses that free will is a product of the intrinsic human soul, using the word neshama (from the Hebrew root n.sh.m. or meaning "breath"), but the ability to make a free choice is through Yechida (from Hebrew word "yachid", singular), the part of the soul which is united with God, the only being that is not hindered by or dependent on cause and effect (thus, freedom of will does not belong to the realm of the physical reality, and inability of natural philosophy to account for it is expected). Childhood NDE's
One of the first instances of 'future memory' occured after my first stage of battling my medical condtion at the age of 8. I had many instances of cardiac arrests by this age. I was constantly talking about the future as if it was a thing of the past. In my young mind the future had a resemblance in that it had already occured. The first person I spoke at length about this was my Uncle. He had purchased a new car and the sight of it triggered 'recall' of future events. I spoke to him about the time when there would be 'sunspots' on his new car. I told him that the car wouldn't belong to him anymore. It would belong to my Grandparents. He asked why and I told him that he was going to leave the world and leave the car to them. He was shocked by this. He took my predictions seriously and kept the car in 'show room' condition and locked away in the garage for the remainder of his life. The event came to pass 30 years later just as I had seen it in the eposide of 'future memory' at the age of 8.
I was constantly talking to family members about the future. Everyone had their own understanding that the future didn't exist until time came to pass. I felt the same way as the Jewish philosphy states. The future belongs to our soul and the fate the future is written on a spiritual level long before it manifests itself onto the physical plane.
Adult NDE
Shortly after my amnesia and my NDE at the age of 18 - the 'future memory' returned in various degrees. I never controlled it on a physicial, mental or human level. I always felt that when I had 'sight' of a future event - then it was something my 'soul' was showing me.
It was a little more shocking as an adult. The first instance of it was when I ran into a former classmate. I was shocked and horrified at the 'sight of future memory.' I saw the fact that he was going to die at a young age. Everyone noticed how distrubed I had become. Later one of my friends asked me why I had freaked out. I told him I had seen the future and my former classmate wasn't long for the this world. I felt there was nothing I could do to prevent him from his fate and destiny, yet it was distrubing to know and not be able to talk about it.
It was during the year following my NDE at the age of 18 when I wrote down the 'time capsule predictions.' Two years later, I encoutnered another instance of 'future memory' when I saw the headlines of my girlfriends murder. I spoke to her and many others about the 'visionary' aspect of my NDE. She died just as the headline vision had predicted. Speaking about the visions backfired on me because it made me look guilty in the eyes of the authorities. I was very cautious about who and what I spoke of after that event.
Friends and ADC's
I had 5 friends who passed during this stage in my life. From the age of 17 to the age of 23, they passed over to the other side and didn't come back as I had. They still maintained a 'telepathic' bond with me in spirit. All five of their spirits predicted I would run into their 'spirits' in new incarnations in the future. I was told their birth dates, names, and the events of the meetings scheduled for us in the future. Of the five - I have confirmed four of the new incarnations. Dates, names and events have all proven to be 100% accurate.
