Welcome

This site is a new project and undergoing updates.

1968

In 1968 - I met a musician from Memphis.  I was only 8 years old at the time.  I had been diagnosed with a terminal condition and wasn't expected to live long.  The musician challeneged me to a challenge.   He told me stories about his buisness.  He felt in was in a one man battle.  He felt I had been in one 'man' battle concerning my medical condtion.  He sang me a song to seal our deal with one another.   The man and the song he sang me is featured on this page.

 1986

In 1986, I met a musican from Seattle.   When he told me his birthday it brought to mind hidden and sacred memories from my childhood.  He shared the same birthday as the man who later made me his 'secret Godson.'  I had an inheritance from the man who was a like a 'second Dad' to me in my childhood.  I had the right to give my blessing to songwriters with rock and roll dreams in their heart and on their mind.   I had to give him a test to see if he could stand up to the "Colenal's" of the world.   He introduced me on the telephone to his friends from Seattle.  I spoke with them with the understanding I wanted to remain in the shadows.   I would not allow my name or the name of E to be used  until I felt they had lived up to his advise and suggestions.   I didn't want the image of E to be exploited.   They had to prove themselves to me first.   Then I would allow them to give credit where credit was due.

Friends - Rock & Soul Mates

I had a right to form a bond with the musican in a spiritual pact.  Anyone I made a brother to me for the sake of rock and soul - would share in my 'spiritual title.'  They too would be considered a "Godson" to Elvis.   The young man I made the pact with was Andrew Wood.   I told him that he had the right to pick and choose musical friends of his to join in the pact.  They had to follow the advise I passed onto Andy for the sake of the inheritiance I felt I had recieved from Elvis.   His spirit would bless their work and be in the studio with them when it came time to record their efforts.  Elvis had wanted to leave an inheritiance to the fans of future generations of rock music.   He wanted to make sure others got the benefit of his advise when it came to the music buisness.

This site is dedicated to the memory of four friends true to my heart - and true to the rythum and sound of the soul that goes with Rock and Roll.
